nightshadeNeon

an aesthetic blend of colors that are great for dark-mode lovers

nightshadeNeon is a custom blend of colors that my wife, RyokoUmbra and I put together over the years. It has become the main color scheme used in things like all of our websites, in wiredWM, and more.

The nightshadeNeon color scheme is quite simple. It consists of 5 colors, and they are used in different ways.

#ff10f0

#ff10f0 is a sort of neon pink color. It is used as one of our primary colors, mainly for main text elements, such as paragraphs, active UI elements, and more.

#39ff14

#39ff14 is a sort of neon green color. It is another one of our primary colors, and is often used for things like hyperlinks, border elements, active UI elements, etc.

#ff3131

#ff3131 is a neon red color. We use it for things like inactive elements, visited links, alert and notification colors, and more.

#ffffff

#ffffff is regular ol' white. We use it as a main text color.

#000000

#000000 is regular ol' black. We usually use it as a background color.

If you look around this site and our other sites, as well as our software, you'll notice it all follows this color scheme. We think nightshadeNeon looks nice, works great for those who like dark-mode, and makes a cohesive identity when it comes to aesthetics.

It's the default theme in wiredWM as well:

~ I'm planning on turning nightshadeNeon into a GTK theme in the future! Right now, we're using yaru-dark-magenta on our Debian systems.
